After being received at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, proceed to Gangtok which is 128 km away and takes 4.5 hours approximately. After reaching Gangtok, check-in at the hotel. Gangtok is the capital city of Sikkim. Located at an elevation of 1,650 m, Gangtok is also the gateway to Sikkim. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After a hearty breakfast start the tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft, 34km). The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir. (Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a journey to explore the famous attractions of Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. First, visit the Bakthang Waterfalls which is quite wide and a great spot to take photographs. Next, you head to Tashi viewpoint for capturing far-reaching views of Mt.Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountains in the world.This point is also known for great sunrise views. Then head for Ganesh Tok, the Charming Hindu temple with mesmerizing hilltop views. After this, visit the Enchey Monastery which is believed to be the home of the protecting deities, Khangchendzonga and Yabdean. Enjoy a cable car ride on the Ropeway and catch the bird’s eye view of the surroundings.Other Gangtok attractions to be covered are Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Banjhakri Falls. After sightseeing, drive back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Wake up early in the morning (3:30am) to witness the sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters/13 KM/45 min). On the way back, visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Proceed for half day city tour around Darjeeling covering The Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday close), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), outer view of Tea Garden (Chitrey) and Tenzing Rock.
